The Australian Saddleback Tumbler is a breed of fancy pigeon developed over many years of selective breeding. Australian Saddleback Tumblers, along with other varieties of domesticated pigeons, are all descendants from the rock pigeon (Columba livia). As the name suggests, this breed is an Australian creation and was first recognized as a breed in 1917.

It is a large muffed breed, most of these shown here have cut muffs for breeding.
I've have them in Black, Dun, Blue, Silver, Red and Yellow. The Blues have colored tails, the Reds have white tails.
It is said to tumble and roll well but I personally have never flown them. Most of their flying in the loft is done with wing cracking.
